Elma Electronic Wins Top Honors in Military & Aerospace Electronics 2025 Innovation Awards with Two Platinum Awards

Elma Electronic’s Liquid Flow-Through (LFT) VITA 48.4 development chassis enables rapid prototyping and testing of up to six 6U OpenVPX plug-in cards (PICs) with power densities of 200 W or more. The self-contained platform is designed for proof-of-concept testing and development tasks in a variety of mission-critical aerospace and defense environments. Specific applications include sensor payloads, electronic warfare (EW), C5ISR, navigation systems and target tracking and display.

For CMOSS and RF applications, the new 7-slot 3U OpenVPX backplane features 6 slots including 3 payload slots, 1 VITA 62 PSU slot, and PNT support across all slots.
