The Elma product they use- the 19'' subrack 12KR Railway - was adapted to the given conditions due to the high requirements for stability and ventilation as well as the use in rolling stock applications, passing all rigorous requirements of EN50155. This subrack is used as a mounting unit for various RF modules. Elma delivers the tested chassis along with customer-specific front modules printed by Elma. Customer-specific DC/DC converters are also provided to reliably power the RF modules.
