Elma Group: Significant increase of net profit in first half year 2017 expected

CH-Wetzikon, June 16, 2017 - In the first five months of the current business year 2017 the Elma Group has significantly increased  order income and net  sales compared with the previous  year (also adjusted for currency translation effects).

While  the  first  half  of  the  previous  year  2016  was  still  affected  by  significant  project  delays  with  key customers - particularly in the USA as the largest region of the Elma Group - the business situation in the second half of 2016 improved noticeably. This positive development continues in the current business year.

Elma anticipates from today’s perspective to close the first half year 2017 with a net profit in the range of CHF 1.0 to 1.5 million (previous year: CHF 0.2 million). All regions contribute to the improved results. The complete interim results and interim report will be published on August 15, 2017.
