Business of the Elma Group during first half year 2016

CH-Wetzikon, June 3, 2016 – In the first five months of the current year 2016 the order income of the Elma Group has developed positively and above the previous year (also adjusted for acquisition effects). Due to project delays with key customers in all three regions and judging from today’s perspective, the consolidated revenue in the first six months will be below expectations. The Americas region as the largest region of the Elma Group is affected the most by project delays with customers. The integration of the recently acquired Swiss company Trenew Electronic AG into the Elma Group progresses on schedule.

The Elma Group anticipates from today’s perspective to close the first half year 2016 with a small negative net income (previous year: net profit of CHF 0.8 million). Detailed information on the interim results of the Elma Group will be published on August 16, 2016.
