Technical employee in Electronics Engineering (DE)

Elma Germany is looking for an technical employee (m|f|d) in the development department for Electronics Engineering as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Both technically and schedulewise management of the development projects for backplanes and boards in the department “Engineering Electronics” (EE) in Pforzheim and together with our Elma DesignCenter in Bucharest, incl. the independent and complete project coordination
• Technical clarification and completion of project specifications in close cooperation with Elma project management and our customers
• Selection of components according to technology, cost, availability
• Cooperation as project teams with the other Elma departments from engineering, PM, purchasing and production
• Creation of test concept, test equipment and project documentation and performing the in-house prototype support
• Support and execution of Elma R&D tasks (such as signal integrity simulations & measurements)
• Development of Elma Standard products (backplane, carrier boards, PSU) as well as maintaining the various Elma-Design-guidelines 
• Sales support (for creating concepts and offers, if necessary also customer visits)
  
  

Your profile:

• Engineer or technician (specialized in electrical engineering) or comparable education
• Experience in the field of complex backplanes & boards (ideally)
• Familiarity with Altium Designer ECAD program (ideally)
• Familiarity with signal integrity simulations & measurements (ideally)
• Knowledge of the process & technologies for manufacturing boards and backplanes (ideally)
• Very good knowledge of English
• Flexible in time as well as resilient and team-capable
• Independent, self-responsible and proactive
