MicroTCA® is a modular, open standard for building high microtca1-348x232performance switched fabric computer systems in a small form factor. At its core are standard Advanced Mezzanine Cards which provide processing and I/O functions. Hundreds of different AMC’s are commercially available.
As a pioneer of the MicroTCA.0-based MicroTCA.4 specification, Elma offers standard systems for physics applications that can handle even extreme peak loads. The experience gained from projects that take technology to the limit of what is feasible also provides Elma with valuable insights for optimizing technologies for other fields of applications. Progress is never about just a single discipline. This is why every Elma basic system, as well as the ‘MicroTCA for Physics’ system, was developed by Elma’s engineers with great passion.
