This ½ ATR platform is designed for use in harsh environments. It is designed to house three 3U VPX (VITA 48.2) payload cards and one 3U VPX (VITA 62) PSU and protect them from harsh environments. The backplane supports up to 4 slots on a 1” pitch.

  • ARINC 404 mounting system including front hooks and rear dowels
  • OpenVPX backplane on 1” pitch (5HP) for 3 VITA 48.2 Payload Cards and 1 VITA 62 Power Module
  • Front panel connectors for interface to external systems. Configurable front panel interface card
  • The chassis incorporates a military grade high speed fan which provides air though sealed cooling channels on the sidewalls. Detailed thermal modelling has been performed to ensure optimum thermal performance at all operating altitudes.
  • 28 VDC input power filtering and protection
  • Aluminum construction with chromital TCP finish (alochrome option available)
  • Rear carrying handle & front extraction handle
  • Weight: approximately 9 lbs. (without boards). Sealing to IP67
