REACH: New EU Directive
"REACH" is an actual European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use. It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances. The new law entered into force on June 1st 2007. The directive is very complex and contents several obligations for manufacturers, distributors and users of chemical substances. We released a general customer letter (Certificate of Compliance).
"REACH" is in no direct conjunction with the RoHS directive, nevertheless we'd like to mention, that the RoHS status of our products is always mentioned on our quotations as well as on all delivery papers.
