Type 11 Rackmount/Desktop

Elma System 11 family of VPX enclosures provides a high quality, cost effective pre-plated steel platform. Designed to IEEE 1101.10/.11 standards, Type 11 enclosures give advanced EMC shielding protection and are available with a wide range of options. Based on a modular packaging approach, the system can be configured by selecting the backplane, PSU, device modules and number of slots.
Type 12 Rackmount

High performance VPX chassis platform consisting of alodined aluminum enclosures, VPX backplane, power supply, cooling system and AC/DC power components. Assembled, wired, and tested prior to shipment.
Type 14 Rackmount/Desktop

High quality 19” rackmount chassis platform consisting of vinyl clad aluminum enclosures, high performance VPX backplane, power supply, cooling system and AC/DC power components. Assembled, wired and tested prior to shipment.
Type 15 Rackmount/Desktop

High quality 19” rackmount chassis platform consisting of scratch resistant, powder coated alodined aluminum enclosures, high performance VPX backplane, power supply, cooling system and AC/DC power components. Assembled, wired and tested prior to shipment.
Type 32, VPX Portable Tower

The VPX Tower offers a carrying handle for easy portability making it ideal for prototyping, demonstrations, and for mobile applications. The unit also features advanced EMC shielding, scratch-resistant vinyl clad aluminum covers, and power components. Cooling is achieved with 1 x 12V DC fan pushing 150 CFM (cubic feet per minute) in a front-to-rear airflow configuration.
Type 32, VPX/VXS Hybrid Portable Tower

The VPX/VXS portable tower chassis supports a 5-slot VPX/VXS hybrid backplane. The VPX/VXS is equipped with 2 VXS slots (1 payload and 1 switch) and 3 VPX slots. The chassis complies to the IEEE 1101.10/.11 specifications with vertical mounting for 6U x 160mm cards from the front and 6U x 80mm I/O cards from the rear to support Rear Transition Modules (RTMs).
E-Frame Series Test and Development Platform

The E-frame is a modular, portable test chassis with an open frame for easy access. It can support various card sizes (3U, 6U, etc) and up to 19 slots at .8" or 15 slots at 1" pitch. The unit offers a wide range of power options, fan speed control, front accessible test points, and optional system monitoring.
VPX ATRs

Elma’s rugged COTS products are designed to meet the demands of harsh military environments per MIL-STDs. Based on a modular approach, these systems provide a high quality and cost-efficient approach to rugged packaging. Starting with ½, ¾, and 1 ATR sizes, these products are available in many configurations, and can be customized per specific project requirements. All units are fully wired, tested and assembled prior to shipment.
