Elma's unique modular MicroTCA solution allows a wide range of design options. The Elma solution is extrusion-based, with modular card guides allowing various slot counts, card heights, and component configurations. This greatly reduces the costs, lead-time, and risk of tailoring a configuration to a customer's specific needs. The Elma modular design also keeps prototyping costs low. When a project moves to higher volumes, Elma can switch from extrusions to stamped sheet metal.

Type 32, MicroTCA Portable Development System

The first of its kind in the industry, the Tower features a carrying handle for easy portability. The Type 32M MicroTCA Portable Tower is ideal as a development chassis. Utilizing Elma's modular extrusion-based design, the chassis facilitates a wide range of configurations. It accepts up to 6-single/full size AdvancedMC's or up to 3 double modules, 2 MicroTCA carrier hubs (MCH) with 1-4 tongue edge connectors and 2 power modules for redundancy.

The all-rounder for every job: MicroTCA SYstem blu!cube AC or DC power module, AMCs as single or double module – in a compact benchtop housing.
MicroSlim Shelf

Compliant to MicroTCA.0 specification, the MicroSlim Shelf is designed to offer the performance benefits of MicroTCA within a space-saving 1U or 3U high platform. Optimizing the available space, the MicroSlim Shelf Classic holds 6 x AMC modules while providing MCH and J-TAG Switch Module (JSM) capability in the 1U size. The 3U size holds up to 12 AMC, 2 MCH, 2 PM, and 3 spare slots.

Ruggedized MicroTCA-ATR

The new MicroTCA chassis is an ARINC 404A Full-Size ATR Long Enclosure, often used in commercial and military aviation. The rugged enclosures features modified front panels that can be secured to the chassis. This provides more protection for shock and vibration. Shock absorbers/dampers can also be added to the enclosure for extra protection.
Ruggedized MicroTCA-Rackmount

The new MicroTCA chassis is an ARINC 404A Full-Size COTS System Platform, often used in commercial and military aviation. The rugged enclosure features modified front panels that can be secured to the chassis. This provides more protection for shock and vibration. Shock absorbers/dampers can also be added to the enclosure for extra protection. Thermal management can be achieved via either convection or conduction-cooling.
