VME320
The VME320 backplane offers true 320 Mbytes/sec. bandwidth. In the VME320, a signal is driven from slot 1, goes to the middle slot and then radiates out to all other slots. All the capacitance concentrates at the middle slot instead of having a transmission line effect like a conventional shared-bus backplanes.
