Elma Electronic Inc., a global manufacturer of electronic packaging products, has appointed Shan Morgan as General Manager of Optima EPS, Inc. Optima is the cabinet enclosure unit of Elma that was acquired in 2004. Mr. Morgan will lead Optima in boosting its sales and program of continuous improvement in quality and product design.
Shan Morgan has over 15 years of experience in the packaging industry and was the VP of Sales and Marketing for Elma's Systems Platforms division for many years. He was also previously the VP and General Manager of SMC, a cabinet enclosure company that is a part of Fisher Scientific. Shan is an industry expert in enclosure design, EMC, shock and vibration, and thermal management. His degree is in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona.
